•Chief Resident, Internal Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Florida

Paul Michael, MD, FSCAI, a native of Miami, FL earned his doctorate at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida as chief resident and continued his studies at Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, LA completing his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships as Chief Fellow at Ochsner.

At Ochsner, he developed a particular interest in complex cardiac and vascular disease, training along side world renowned pioneers in advanced minimally invasive endovascular procedures. Standing on the shoulders of these giant mentors Dr. Michael now travels the world teaching and training other physicians interested in advanced interventions to improve patients quality of life and reduce mortality from cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Michael is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. His practice in Palm Beach County, FL focuses on providing a destination for patients seeking the very best results in endovascular procedures designed to save limbs due to preventable causes; mainly diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, and non-healing leg wounds. The reason he is so passionate about providing this level of care is because saving limbs means saving lives, because of the increased mortality of patients with advanced vascular disease.

Through collaboration over competition, and love for the patient, his philosophy of Interventional Empathy allows patients to have the very best care experience by coordinating their healing process with compassion in order to provide Interventional Chronic Disease Management through a Multidisciplanry approach.

Dr. Michael is currently the Medical Director of Palm Beach Heart & Vascular and the JFK Wound Management and Limb Preservation Center. He has performed thousands of limb saving procedures and continues to educate at national and international symposia, including the Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP), New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH), LINC, ISET, Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC), America Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA), and Complex Cardiovascular Therapeutics (CCT). He is a proud member of #CLIFighters and the CLI Global Society. Dr. Michael also provides community educational and awareness lectures on amputation prevention and is committed to providing improved access to superior and compassionate care.

Dana Blocker, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Dana Blocker, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a native of West Palm Beach, Fl. She began her studies at the University of Central Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science. Her medical journey began as a Radiologic Technologist that was trained as a cardiovascular scrub tech. She spent over 15 years working side by side with Interventional Cardiologists scrubbing both cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures. Her love and passion for cardiovascular and peripheral vascular led her to further her education. Dana continued her studies by pursing a degree in nursing. Obtaining this degree allowed her to be more of an integral part of her patient’s care. Her nursing career experience includes cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, and wound care.

Although Dana loved being a Registered Nurse, she knew her knowledge and skills could greatly benefit her patients as a Nurse Practitioner. Her time at Nova Southeastern University yielded a Master of Science in Nursing as an acute care nurse practitioner. She also won the Chancellor’s Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Her knowledge and well-rounded education have given her the ability to be a significant part of the team within the procedural lab. She is educated and trained to work in all areas of a procedural lab, as well as pre, intra, and post care.

She maintains her Registered Nursing, Radiologic Technologist, and Nurse Practitioner licenses in the State of Florida and is a board certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
